Originally developed with delusions of publishing, The Game has become the system of choice for the author (shocking, no?). Despite subjecting the players over the years to various rules revisions, a core of loyal The Gamers has actually come to be (and some of them are not even related!).

The goal of The Game can be stated in a single word: Consistency. The author desired consistency so that even rules of mild complexity might be easy to learn.
