'Avengers' to Start Shooting in April - Director Joss Whedon will begin principal photography on The Avengers in New Mexico in April and continue through September. [ICv2]

Avengers Movie
I've been thoroughly impressed with the job Marvel has done with it's own movies, and the continuity and universe they've been creating for their movies. It's a shame they ever licensed out their properties to other studios, and can't get them back, although they did get The Punisher back. Still, the X-Men and Fantastic 4 (No Fantastic 4 in avengers!?!?!?) universe still belongs to Fox, Spider-man to Sony, and well, is that it, or are their other of their properties still being clung to by other studios?
